#5) CONTACT SPY

Contact Spy is an online ‘reverse people look up’ app for the iPhone.  It allows you to quickly search for more details of anyone on your contact list.  Information you Contact Spy will look for include the following:

- Web sites that mention and/or refer to your contact.
- Images that match your contact’s name.
- News of your contact.
- Blogs that mention your contact’s name.
- Addresses (US only) of your contact.

#4) SECURITY CAM

Turn your iPhone into a real security or spy camera is what their description says in the App store.  This iPhone spy app will do just that.  It will turn your standard iPhone into a spy cam that will enable you to snap photos based on your settings.  What’s cool about this app is that users are able to customize an audio trigger so that iPhone will only snap a photo when your audio trigger is activated.  Other features include a frequency / countdown feature that snaps a photo at the end of the countdown, and adding a time/date stamp to the photos.

#3) MOBILE ME

There are a lot of GPS tracking apps for the iPhone.  My personal favorite is GPS Tracking by LociMobile.  However, where these GPS tracking apps fall short in the spy category, is that  all of these apps require the other person to accept your request for their location. If your goal is to covertly track their location, there is no better iPhone spy app than Apple’s very own Mobile Me ‘Find My iPhone’ service.

The reason is simple.  Once you enable ‘Find My iPhone’ in the Mobile Me settings, you can log onto your account at me.com and view the location of the iPhone anytime you want, without having accept your location request.  You get to see exactly where they are on a map, where you can zoom in and out.  It’s a great service for anyone who want’s to track an iPhone to keep an eye on your kids or as a way to quickly locate your kids in case of an emergency.   An added benefit of this service is that you can even see the contact details that are stored on the phone.

#2) NIGHT RECORDER

This has quickly become one of my favorite low cost iPhone monitoring apps.  This app is designed to record sounds YOU make when you sleep.  Do you snore or talk in your sleep? Are there paranormal activities going on around you? Whatever sounds that occur once this app is activated, it will record.

What makes this app stand out from the other sound recording apps is that it will work while the iPhone is in standby mode, which means you can leave it in your room, your car, under your bed, etc… and once the app picks up sounds, it will start to record and then stop recording when it no longer picks up any sounds.   You can adjust the sensitivity of the mic, transfer your files via WiFi, and choose to have new files every time a new recording takes place, or make it one continuous recording. On top of all this, the app looks real cool when you open it. Kind of hard to explain, but it looks like an old fashion  reel-to-reel tape recorder.
